through the haze

me, not her. I had a horribly stressful day at work, and my neck has been really killing me of late, and finally I could take no more...so I took a muscle relaxer for my neck, grabbed my sketchbook and a cheap Bic mechanical pencil, curled up on the sofa and started to sketch. My daughter finally hauled my ass to bed when I couldn't focus on her anymore. The next morning I took a look at what I had sketched and said...whoa! It was pretty good except I had smudged it all up in my clumsy efforts to draw. Impossible to clean up, so I smudged it all over with my finger and...Voila! A hazy kind of look. But was the haze on me or her? Hmmmmmmmm........
